Read this user manual carefully before you use the bottle warmer and save it for future reference.

• Do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquid.

• Only use the appliance indoors.
• Do not let the mains cord hang over the edge of a table or worktop. Excess cord can be stored in the base of the bottle warmer.
• Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces.
• Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket. Always make sure that the plug is inserted into the wall socket properly.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
• If you need to use an extension cord, make sure it is an earthed extension cord with a rating of at least 13 amperes.
• Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or the appliance itself is damaged. If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service centre authorised by Philips or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric cooker, or in a heated oven.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children aged less than 8 years.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Do not spill water on the mains plug.
• Only use the appliance as described in the user manual to avoid potential injury due to misuse.
• Do not preheat the appliance.
• Always place a fully assembled bottle with cap in the bottle warmer before you add water.
• Make sure you add water before you switch on the bottle warmer.
• Hot water can cause serious burns. Be careful when the bottle warmer contains hot water.
• The accessible surfaces of the appliance may become hot during use and are subject to residual heat after use.
• Do not move the appliance when it contains hot water.
• When the food or milk has reached the required temperature, remove the bottle or container from the bottle warmer. If you leave food or milk in the bottle warmer, the temperature of the food or milk increases.
• Always check the food temperature before you feed your child.

• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as farm houses, bed and breakfast type environments, staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments, and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
• Unplug the appliance when it is not in use.
• The surface of the heating element is subject to residual heat after use.
• Let the appliance cool down before you clean it.
• Follow the descaling instructions to avoid irreparable damage.
• Do not try to open or repair the appliance yourself. You can contact the Philips Consumer Care Centre in your country (see www.philips.com/support).

You can find the production date code YYWW in the cord storage compartment in the base of the bottle warmer.

Using the bottle warmer

With this bottle warmer, you can safely warm all Philips Avent feeding bottles and milk/baby food in containers and other baby food jars.

Note: Philips Avent breast milk bags and Philips Avent 2oz/60ml bottles cannot be used in this bottle warmer.

Explanation of settings

• Off setting: The bottle warmer is switched off and the light is off. On every other setting, the appliance is switched on and the light is lit.
  
• Defrost setting: Defrost a bottle/container of milk/baby food to liquid state. No warming occurs.
• Milk warming setting for contents up to 180ml/6oz: Select this setting when you want to warm a bottle of milk with a content up to 180ml/6oz.
• Food warming setting: Select this setting when you want to warm a container/jar of baby food.
• Milk warming setting for contents over and including 180ml/6oz: Select this setting when you want to warm a bottle of milk with a content over and including 180ml/6oz.

Using the bottle warmer to warm milk

1. Put the mains plug in the wall socket.
   
2. Place a bottle in the bottle warmer.
   
3. Fill the bottle warmer with drinking water up to the level of the milk in the bottle. In case of large amounts of milk, the maximum level of water is approximately 1 cm below the top of the bottle warmer. An accurate water level ensures correct warming performance.
   
4. Select the desired setting. See the warming reference table at the end of this chapter to check how long the milk needs to be warmed in the selected setting.
   
   Note: The speed of warming milk depends on the amount of the milk warmed and on its initial temperature, i.e. room temperature (20°C) or fridge temperature (5°C).
5. The orange light goes on when you select a setting. This indicates that the bottle warmer is on.
   
   Note: Whilst warming the milk circulates and heats evenly.
6. Check the warming reference table for the time required to warm the milk. Remove the bottle from the bottle warmer after the time indicated in the warming reference table has passed.
   
   Tip: When you find the milk is not warm enough, you can place the bottle back into the appliance for a maximum of 30 seconds of extra warming. This will create a slightly warmer result but without overheating.
   
   If you leave the bottle in the bottle warmer longer than the time indicated in the settings table, the milk may become overheated.
   Note: If you overheat breast milk, valuable nutrients and vitamins may be lost.
7. Always check the temperature before you feed your baby. Gently shake the bottle or milk storage container and check the temperature of the milk by sprinkling a few drops on the inside of your wrist.
   
8. Turn the knob back to the ‘off’ position.
   
   
   If you do not turn the knob back to the ‘off’ position, the water keeps warming.

Using the bottle warmer to warm baby food

1. Follow the same steps as indicated in the previous paragraph.
2. Make sure to stir the baby food during warming as it does not circulate automatically. Be careful not to burn your fingers when holding the container/jar while stirring.
   

After warming test the baby food with a spoon to ensure it is not too hot. If the baby food is not warm enough, put the container back into the bottle warmer and warm the baby food until it has the desired temperature.

Note: Due to the high variety of baby food consistencies, it is strongly recommended to continuously stir and check while you are warming the baby food for an optimal result.

Defrost setting

At this setting, your frozen milk can be defrosted till liquid state. Check the warming reference table for the expected defrost timings, as indication one small and one larger milk volume are included in the table.

When your milk is defrosted, choose one of the warming settings. Consider the start temperature of your milk around room temperature for the warming timings as rough guideline.

Note: Due to the high variety of baby food consistencies, it is strongly recommended to continuously stir and check while you are defrosting the baby food for an optimal result.

Note: The indicated warming times are based on Philips Avent Classic and Natural PP bottle ranges. Be aware that warming timings of Philips Avent standard bottles and glass bottles deviate from these indications. The characteristics of bottles such as material or thickness may also impact the warming times, therefore it may take less time to warm a larger volume of milk.

Note: The indicated defrosting times are based on Philips Avent food containers.

Note: Due to the high variety of baby food consistencies, it is not possible to indicate warming timings for baby food.

Note: The food or milk may feel cool to you, but for a newborn baby its temperature is very pleasant.

Cleaning and descaling

Cleaning

1. After each use, unplug the bottle warmer and let it cool down.
   
2. Remove the water from the bottle warmer for hygienic reasons.
   
3. Wipe the outside and inside of the bottle warmer with a moist cloth.
   

Do not use abrasive, anti-bacterial cleaning agents, chemical solvents or sharp tools to clean the bottle warmer.

Note: If you used the bottle warmer to warm containers with baby food, make sure that no spilled baby food remains on the bottom of the bottle warmer.

Descaling

It is recommended to descale the bottle warmer every four weeks to ensure it continues to work efficiently.

1. Mix 50ml/1.7oz of white vinegar with 100ml/3.4oz of cold water to descale the bottle warmer. Switch on the bottle warmer, select the milk warming setting for contents under 180ml/6oz and let the appliance operate for 10 minutes. Leave the solution in the bottle warmer until all scale has dissolved.
   
   Note: You can also use citric acid based descalers.
   Note: Do not use other types of descalers.
2. Unplug the bottle warmer before you empty it.
   
3. Empty the bottle warmer and rinse its inside thoroughly. If you still see traces of scale after rinsing, repeat the descaling procedure.
   

Recycling

• This symbol on a product means that the product is covered by European Directive 2012/19/EU. Inform yourself about the local separate collection system for electrical and electronic products. Follow local rules and never dispose of the product with normal household waste. Correct disposal of old products helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health.

Прежде, чем начать пользоваться
подогревателем детского питания Philips
AVENT Express в первый раз, уделите 5
минут, чтобы полностью прочесть эту
инструкцию.

Подогреватель детского питания Express
позволяет быстро и безопасно подогревать
все бутылочки AVENT Airflex, контейнеры VIA,
а также баночки с детским питанием.
Подогреватель не рассчитан на то, чтобы
сохранять жидкости или питание теплыми,
так как при этом могут разрушиться витамины,
а также создаются условия для развития
бактерий.

Время, требуемое для подогрева молока или
детского питания, зависит от размера
бутылочки или контейнера и от начальной
температуры содержимого, например, имело
ли оно комнатную температуру (ок. 20

°С) или

вы достали его из холодильника (ок. 5

°С).

Ориентировочное время подогревания
приведено на рис. 2.

В таблице приведена примерная температура
воды*, окружающей бутылочку или контейнер.
Это не инструкция по нагреванию жидкости
или детского питания!

Инструкция по применению

Подогревание бутылочек Airflex

1. Установите съемную чашу в подогреватель.
2. Поместите в подогреватель собранную

бутылочку с питанием.

3. Для бутылочек Airflex объемом 125 мл налейте

в подогреватель воду так, чтобы ее уровень
был немного выше уровня жидкости в
бутылочке.

4. Для бутылочек Airflex большего объема

(260 или 330 мл) уровень воды должен быть
на 15 мм ниже верхнего края подогревателя.

5. Не наливайте воду выше горлышка бутылочки

и не допускайте ее переливания через край
подогревателя.

6. Подключите прибор к сети и включите его.

Установите переключатель в положение 3.

7. Загорится индикаторная лампочка, что

означает, что подогреватель работает.

8. В процессе подогрева лампочка будет

загораться и гаснуть, что означает, что вода,
окружающая бутылочку, нагревается до
максимальной температуры, соответствующей
положению переключателя.

9. Проверяйте температуру питания и, как только

оно нагреется до требуемой температуры,
немедленно извлеките бутылочку из
подогревателя.

10. Перед тем, как кормить ребенка, встряхните

бутылочку и проверьте температуру молока,
капнув несколько капель на запястье.

11. Не допускайте перегревания молока.
ВНИМАНИЕ: Рис. 2 позволяет оценить
примерное время подогрева.
ВНИМАНИЕ: При подогревании Волшебной
чашки AVENT и бутылочек для кормления
других марок можно извлечь из
подогревателя съемную чашу.

Подогревание стеклянных и металлических
баночек с детским питанием.
1.

Установите съемную чашу в подогреватель.

2. Поместите емкость с питанием в подогреватель,

предварительно сняв с нее крышку.

3. Налейте в подогреватель воду так, чтобы ее

уровень был на 15 мм ниже верхнего края
баночки с питанием.

4. Подключите прибор к сети и включите его.

Установите переключатель в положение 3.

5. Следуйте пунктам инструкции 7-9 (см. выше)
6. Подогреватель будет работать так же, как при

подогревании бутылочек для кормления. Вынимая
баночку из подогревателя, соблюдайте осторожность:
вода в подогревателе будет горячей.

7.

При подогревании небольших емкостей можно
перед заливанием воды подложить под них кольцо
от бутылочки AVENT. Так вам будет легче вынуть
емкость из подогревателя.

8. Перемешайте питание и попробуйте его сами,

чтобы убедиться, что оно не слишком горячее для
ребенка.

9. Не перегревайте питание.

ВНИМАНИЕ: Рис. 2 позволяет оценить
примерное время подогревания.

Уход за подогревателем

Перед чисткой подогревателя отключите его от сети и
дайте ему остыть. Извлеките съемную чашу и
протрите внутренние и внешние поверхности
подогревателя влажной тряпкой. Подогреватель
снова будет выглядеть как новый. НЕ ИСПОЛЬЗУЙТЕ
АБРАЗИВНЫЕ ЧИСТЯЩИЕ СРЕДСТВА. Для
снижения образования накипи можно использовать
в подогревателе кипяченую или фильтрованную воду.

Очистка от накипи

Для эффективной работы подогревателя детского
питания EXPRESS следует каждые четыре недели
очищать его от накипи.

1 способ
Размешайте 10 г лимонной кислоты (содержимое 1
прилагаемого пакетика) в 200 мл воды. Установите
корзину на место и залейте раствор
в подогреватель. Установите переключатель в
положение 3 и включите подогреватель. Через
10 минут отключите прибор от сети и оставьте на
30 мин. Слейте раствор и ополосните подогреватель
проточной водой. Лимонную кислоту можно
приобрести отдельно.
2 способ
Установите корзину на место. Смешайте 50 мл
пищевого уксуса со 100 мл холодной воды и залейте
в подогреватель. Оставьте прибор до полного
растворения накипи. Слейте раствор
и тщательно ополосните подогреватель.

Внимание!

Подогреватель детского питания AVENT Express
имеет неразборную штепсельную вилку. Сетевой
шнур замене не подлежит. Если шнур поврежден,
пользоваться прибором нельзя.

Допускается использовать с подогревателем только
шнур и вилку, входящие в комплект и наоборот,
данные шнур и вилка используются только с данным
подогревателем.

Изделие произведено в соответствии с европейскими
стандартами безопасности EEC Directive 89/336/EEC.

• В работающем подогревателе находится

горячая вода

• Сначала поместите в подогреватель

бутылочку или контейнер и только после
этого наливайте воду

• Прежде чем включить подогреватель,

не забудьте налить в него воду.

• Если оставить питание в подогревателе,

его температура продолжит повышаться,
поскольку при включенном подогревателе
термостат периодически включается и
отключается.

• Проверяйте питание, и как только оно

достигнет нужной температуры, немедленно
вынимайте его из подогревателя.

• Отключайте прибор от сети в перерывах

между использованием.

• НИКОГДА НЕ ПОГРУЖАЙТЕ

ПОДОГРЕВАТЕЛЬ В ВОДУ.

• Данный прибор предназначен для использования

взрослыми, храните его в месте, недоступном для
маленьких детей и немощных.

• Данный прибор не предназначен для

использования людьми (в том числе детьми)с
ограниченными физическими, сенсорными или
умственными возможностями – они могут

использовать прибор только под руководством
лиц, ответственных за их безопасность.

• Не позволяйте детям играть с прибором.

Ложечка для кормления

• Для детей от 6 месяцев.
• Благодаря специально разработанной форме, не

травмирует нежные десны малыша, ее размеры
удобны для маленького рта.

• Длинная ручка – легко держать, использовать

и мыть.

• Форма ложки облегчает кормление без брызг.

Это важно для здоровья и безопасности вашего
ребенка!
Перед первым использованием вымойте изделие.
Допускает мытье в посудомоечной машине.
Стерилизуйте в стерилизаторе Philips AVENT или
кипячением в течение 5 минут. Проверяйте изделие
перед каждым использованием, при первых
признаках повреждения или изношенности
выбрасывайте. В перерывах между использованием
не оставляйте на прямом солнечном свете или
вблизи источников тепла, не оставляйте в
стерилизующем растворе дольше рекомендуемого
времени, это может привести к преждевременному
износу изделия. Данное изделие должно
использоваться только под присмотром взрослого.
Всегда проверяйте температуру питания перед
кормлением.

Гарантийные обязательства

Гарантийный срок эксплуатации подогревателя
детского питания Philips AVENT Express составляет
12 месяцев с момента реализации изделия через
розничную сеть. Бесплатное сервисное
обслуживание гарантировано только при наличии
фирменного гарантийного талона со штампом
продавца и указанием даты продажи. Гарантия
действительна при соблюдении следующих условий:
• Подогреватель детского питания Express

эксплуатировался только согласно инструкции и
подключался в сеть соответствующего
напряжения.

• Неисправность не является результатом

неправильной эксплуатации, небрежного
обращения или естественного износа.

Гарантия устанавливается в дополнение к правам
потребителя, установленным законодательством.
