Efficacy

We keep this on hand to ward of UTIs after swimming. Also take at the first sign of a uti and it seems to knock it out. Better than cystex and will always keep this on hand

Perfect and fast remedy for UTI pain and discomfort. I use this stuff the SECOND I feel any sort of symptom coming on. Drink lots of water and make sure you still see a doctor to get professionally treated!

Have use for incredible lengthy periods of time. It relieves swelling in urinary tract. Please do not use for animals/pets. It could kill your pet.

I take two AZO tablets as soon as I feel that first tingling/itching sensation in my urethra, and it knocks the UTI right out. It won’t be enough to fight an already full-blown UTI — you need prescription meds for that — but AZO will help decrease the pain before you can see your doc.
As someone with cystitis (recurrent UTIs), I see my urologist regularly, and I have two prescriptions to self-treat UTIs as needed. Last year, my urologist recommended AZO when she didn’t have any free samples of Uribel Blue to give me. It contains the same active ingredients. If I have a full-blown UTI, she directed me to start my antibiotics and take two AZO tablets for immediate pain relief.
Not only is it good for that, but several times I’ve been able to avoid antibiotics entirely by taking AZO at that first tingle of a UTI.
I will never be without AZO in my medicine cabinet!!

Can AZO Urinary Tract Defense get rid of a UTI?
No, AZO Urinary Tract Defense does not cure a urinary tract infection. Its purpose is to keep you comfortable and to control the infection until you can see your primary care provider. Your doctor will prescribe an antibiotic medication capable of eliminating the bacteria responsible for the infection.
