Very compact, wanted it to work

I purchased this because of its compact size, thought it would be grest for travel. The arm cuff was difficult to use. Too long, excess material, hard to get it tight around your arm by yourself. Also, numbers are hard to resd and disappear from the screen too quickly

Small device with big advantages for your health.

I’ve had this for a long time and travel with it and can wear it when exercising.\nI used to have battery WiFi with display and cuff on tube and this is better way to take measurements.\nI can stash it in my carry on and is small enough to not need special case or carry bag. Rechargeable is better than replacing batteries or plugging in.

Inaccurate readings

I replaced my old Withings BP monitor with this new one about 9 months ago and find my readings are now 15 to 40 points higher when compared to 4 other monitors including my doctor’s monitor.

Results are difficult to view on device as well as the app. Very cute look and i want to have the full line yo so everything is in sync and then i hope the app is easier but still even the device should not be so hard, my mom has a hard time seeing and then it flashes fast and vanishes and then sometimes they dont show up on app

Nice BP tool

Before this, i was trackibg my results by inputting the values in my computer. With this one, i dont have to do thata anymore. Easy to use and best of all it is accurate. A little bit expensive but i think in the long run is very useful for people who travel a lot.

I went to the doctor. He measured my blood pressure. Aha: Too high. He told me to take cholesterol-lowering medication. Mmmmhmmmm. Before I resort to such a measure, I prefer to measure it myself. I have nothing against medication. If I have a problem and a medication helps, then I take it. But cholesterol-lowering medication? …really? And look: The blood pressure fluctuates. And the blood pressure is much lower after work: In the elevated range, but not in the high or extremely high range. Before getting up, the blood pressure was just no longer in the normal range, only slightly elevated. Was the blood pressure at the doctor’s possibly due to the fact that I had to stand because the waiting room was overcrowded? Mmmmmmhmmmmm. The device can also measure ECG and heart sounds. Everything normal so far. Great! The commissioning of the device was no problem for me. However, I also work in IT. Conclusion: If you still know your Wi-Fi password and want to know a little more about your health, then the device is perfect for you. Am I taking cholesterol-lowering medication? Not yet. Do I need it? My device will tell me.

Does what it’s supposed to do and does it well

The device is really great. Easy to attach and the measurements are self-explanatory. Finally, a blood pressure monitor combined with EKG that is simple and uncomplicated. You just have to make sure that it is really quiet in the room where the measurement is taken. Turn off the TV and press the mute button for the roommates too Open windows with car noises are also not recommended during the measurement. Even my air purifier is a bit disturbing to listen to the heart sounds. Then the EKG measurement works excellently. Rarely have I found something so good. The app is clear and very good with help videos. No problems with data transfer. The price is not exactly cheap. It’s already top class. Under 200 would be more pleasant.

Good blood pressure monitor for home use

I use the device to monitor my blood pressure at home. Putting it on is easy without any external help and it is fixed to the arm with the velcro strap. Then press the button to turn it on and again to start the measurement. If you follow the instructions, the measurement including ECG and heart rate is easy. Of course, I lack a direct comparison with a doctor’s measurement for accuracy. The value is transmitted via WLAN and is available in the Withings app, so you get a good overview even in the medium and long term. The time of writing down the values is definitely a thing of the past.

Working well….mostly.

My wife uses it every day. It says it will work for multiple users. And it does. The problem we had with it …. even though we followed the instructions and figured out how to assign each reading to the correct person, it would send my readings to her account. I could not get it to send my readings to my account. So I just keep using my old fashion cuff that doesn’t link to anything and manually log my readings into my health app.

Sit back relax and let the device take three readings, this is awesome since no one reading is accurate probably. It also shows the Name on the device w/ the readings. I loved it. Easy To Use Blood Pressure Cuff

Although much different than Withings initial blood pressure cuff, this cuff is easy to use and doesn’t require having your phone in front of you. It’s also much more compact. In the few weeks that I’ve been using it, it seems to be fairly accurate. Additionally, more than one person can use it, and the results will flow from the cuff to each phone as appropriate. if you need to keep careful track of your blood pressure, this product might be for you!

I love this thing and have been impressed with the entire Withings line. Much improved version.

Much better than the previous model. The velcro hold better. This one reads the BP as it is inflating, instead of waiting to read as it deflates. Faster. You also don’t need to start it from the app like the previous model. Rechargeable instead of taking batteries.

Great device, just what I was looking for.

I’ve had the old blood pressure cuff for years and decided to upgrade. This couldn’t be easier. After a short and reasonable setup, I only have to press the button on the side. That’s it. I get a reading on the device itself, and it just shows up in detail on my phone. This is great for when I go visit my doctor. I can show trends and progress.

Great product that’s accurate and works well. Wi-Fi built in is a good thing BUT it needs to fail over to Bluetooth via your connected phone since clearly this is portable.\n\nAlso after using this for 2 weeks I ended up going into my Dr’s office since reading were all over the place and their instructions helped (i.e. don’t make the bed first, sit still for 30 minutes after getting up as opposed to 5 minutes and specific arm placement) making a 20 point difference within 6 minutes of sitting in the doctor’s office

Everyone Should Have a BP Monitor At Home

This is a great device! I need to monitor my BP, especially during very specific moments that arise without warning; this is easy to bring along with me so I can take my BP anywhere, anytime. It links to my phone automatically, eliminating the need for me to remember my numbers or track them elsewhere. Before this, I had 2 BP monitors: a bulky, traditional one that is not very portable, and a portable wrist monitor that was slightly less accurate than the arm cuffs. This has all the versatility of the wrist cuff, but with the accuracy of the traditional monitor.\nI highly recommend this. \nEven if you’re not someone who needs to monitor BP often, it’s important to have access to a monitor from time to time.

Difficulty using the ECG

The arm cuff is too wide for thin upper arms in women and men don’t always have upper arms like prizefighters. The triple blood pressure measurement method is good. EKG mostly yields inconclusive results.

Well designed and sufficient BPM.

This is an HSA qualifying product, which is partly why I purchased it. In addition, I own other items from Withings’ portfolio so found it more convenient to stay within a single ecosystem for data management. It ties in well with Apple’s iOS for tracking data. I think the dotted LEDs are pushing on a level of pointlessness as it’s annoyingly difficult to read. Charging the item to 100% only takes a few minutes — if I remember correctly is uses a standard mini-USB port.

Measurements are fast and accurate. Stethoscope is measuring only when positioned perfectly. Touch surface doesn’t always register swipes so measurements are often assigned to wrong account. MicroUSB!

Great product. It is nice that you can send information to a doctor. Also, being able to save to different users in the household is a plus. I made sure they had their own accounts. I had to figure out how to set up saving to a profile after taking a reading. it comes down to a long press the button after the reading, which then gives you the option to select the user.

Good quality, but one size does NOT fit all!

I purchased this to monitor my BP as I have several family members diagnosed with hypertension. After using the product for a few weeks I was concerned as my readings were “off the charts” bad. I immediately followed up with my PCP while taking my withings device in to the office to show the readings. What I found is that there are different sizes arm cuffs for BP readers to support larger arms. While the Withings is a one size fits all product, my readings were consistently around 150/100 while my PCP recorded me on the same day at 115/82. The Withings BP monitor may be great for some users, but would be nice to have it in different sizes as my results are dramatically different with their product vs what my actual vitals are.

I’ve owned this for about a month now. Works great every single time links up to my app really good. Seems pretty accurate. Battery life is great I’ve only pluged it in once and that was to see the battery life after about 3 weeks of daily use and it was still reading 100%. The only thing that I wish was different is the charging port. It would be so much easier if it used USB-C. I also like the portability of the blood pressure cuff it is small enough to travel with. I purchased the travel case for it as well.

Great Health Device

I had an old Withings BP Monitor that hardwired into the phone. The Bluetooth option is so much nicer. Setup was easy. Once setup is complete it’s very easy to use. One button is pretty much all it takes and 60 seconds to know your BP.

Since 2020, I have been suffering from atrial fibrillation, have already undergone several cardioversions and an ablation. Unfortunately, without success so far! As the *episodes* increase and I suffer from anxiety/panic attacks as a result, I bought this ECG-blood pressure combo device! Now I am able to control and document my heart rhythm at any time. This helps me and my cardiologist immensely! The device and the app are super easy to understand and you can print the result or send it by email to your doctor. The stethoscope for the heart sounds is secondary in my opinion as you need absolute silence for that. I can only recommend this device to everyone * However, it is advantageous if you are somewhat proficient in ECG technology as it makes it easier to evaluate the result.*

Accurate, very compact and great for traveling. Auto data uploads are great and syncing from Withings to Apple Health is awesome. We have a Withings Body+ scale too and that was a deciding factor to get this over another unit. Only bad thing is it takes a long time while it takes multiple readings. Haven’t timed it but it feels like 5 minutes from start to finish.

Charge lasts a very long time and have only had to charge it once or twice! Accurate and great integration with Apple Health. Accurate but not exactly cheap

The Withings BPM Core is quite reliable for measuring blood pressure and EKG after a certain period of getting used to it. In the digital stethoscope, a heart valve defect is often displayed with the advice to see a doctor. There is the possibility to play back the heart sounds via the app after the measurement. Often, even bird chirping or passing cars or the TV can be heard. (closed windows, TV on the 1st floor above the measuring room) The recommendation to find a quiet environment was also taken into account. Finding: The volume of the stethoscope adjusts itself, the heart sound seems acoustically distorted. I have been using the device for two months now to reliably control VHF, which works very well since my VHF is paroxysmal, i.e. temporary. In the hospital, during one of these sensations, a cardiologist told me that I wouldn’t even notice if such a heart sensation occurred. He doesn’t believe that I always notice it. That’s why I use the device, which really works reliably and documents the period independently in the calendar and prints it out in the interim report. This saves me a lot of anticoagulants with all their ‘delicious’ side effects. I always checked the accuracy of the blood pressure with a second device on my wrist or a manual blood pressure cuff on my upper arm. I always preferred the wrist device because the blood pressure was almost always in the normal range, rather low, displayed here. The BMP CORE showed 20 — 25 mmHG more, which is realistic. Then I got a new hypertension medication. Since hypertension can also trigger VHF. At the moment, I measure at all possible times of day and night to test more. For example, when I get the impression that my heart is skipping a beat. There were 337 measurements within 32 days. As for the durability of the battery, I can say that it is more durable than batteries in the wrist measuring device. 180 measurements are possible. So if you measure every evening, you can use it for half a year…. With frequent measurements, I recharge it every 14 days. The display is unique…and not easy to read…because the dots are quite coarse and rather ‘light-sign-like’. But it serves its purpose. On the other hand, the use of an invisible rotary wheel is rather ingenious. No dirt can get inside the device. Up to 8 people can be saved.

No easy way found to export data

The hardware for this device is excellent and five stars or more. But it you are monitoring your BP to provide a list of daily results to your doctor, we have been unable to find a user friendly procedure to do that on either our iPhone or browser. We did find a link to request a compilation of data for download after email notification but a day later, we have yet to receive anything. The \’Share with Your Doctor\’ routine on our phone produces a .pdf file with only a meaningless average BO|P figure. I guess we are back to manually recording our own spreadsheet.

This is very easy to use. I took this to my doctor’s appointment. She took my blood pressure with her monitor, and then I took mine with this. The readings were within a point of each other. Professional blood pressure monitor with fantastic app

For me, it was the third device from Withings after the watch and the scale. Now I feel able to monitor all my vital signs and share them with my doctor. This is especially helpful in times of Corona, when diagnoses are often made from a distance. My doctor already has all the information he would normally get in the office available through the app or health report. This also helps with routine check-ups. My internist was able to view this data on the web and said it gave him a very good overview, including my habits such as sleep, weight development, and movement profile. This allows him to get a very good picture of my overall health! He was also impressed by the abundance and quality of the data! Clear purchase recommendation!

Robust, extensive measurements, good app

The product is very well made and appealing in design. The operation is simple, only the display as a dot-matrix is a bit rough, numerical values are easily recognizable, text must be guessed rather. I cannot make a statement about the measurement accuracy due to lack of valid reference. To successfully measure heart sounds, the environment must be quiet and the device must be positioned directly on the body in the front side chest area. If given, I achieve a success rate of about 75%. I can recommend the device without reservation, only the price is ambitious.

Great measuring device!

I find the measuring device along with its built-in functions really practical and well-designed! The battery lasts extremely long and the different measuring modes are really sophisticated. At first, you need some practice to put the device on your arm correctly (because of the stethoscope) — but this is quickly done with the first guided training measurement you do with the app. All in all, it’s just fun to measure your blood pressure + EKG and stethoscope with this thing!

The device is nicely styled and user-friendly, offering not only blood pressure measurement but also an ECG function with arrhythmia detection. However, it suffers from a software-related limitation: if the user (e.g. due to sports) has a resting heart rate below 50 beats/min, the device refuses to capture and evaluate the ECG. This threshold is set too high, as health concerns only arise at significantly lower values. The manufacturer should improve its firmware: measurements should be possible down to 45 beats/min; for values below 50, a notice could simply be issued asking the user to consult a doctor. Without this improvement, the device is too expensive for its (limited) performance.

Top device — definitely worth it!

Packaging / Contents: The device was securely packaged and should therefore not have suffered any transport damage. The package contained the device, a charging cable and a small manual. Device / Functionality: The use in conjunction with the app (see below) works perfectly. All functions have been tested multiple times and work perfectly. If you want / need to take care of yourself, this is a very good choice. In terms of price, I find it completely reasonable! You can quickly add additional profiles where data can be collected or activate the guest function if you only want to have your values without the app and without data collection. App (iOS — tested on iPhone 13 Pro Max / iOS 15.3): It is simply designed and does not cause eye strain. In my tests, there were no problems and the coupling (not mandatory!) with Apple Health worked perfectly. Thus, both communicate and constantly exchange values. The app guides you through the installation of the device. But for subsequent use, I would recommend YouTube! There it is explained in more detail what you really need to pay attention to.

In December, my husband had problems with atrial fibrillation, so I looked for a new blood pressure monitor with VHF detection. After research, I came across this device, also recommended in a VHF group. I ordered it and it was delivered quickly. First, we (up to 8 profiles can be created) downloaded the app on our phones. Then we read the instructions carefully and tried to find the right position for measurement. We quickly figured that out too. It is important that the heart sounds are measured on bare skin and at rest (even in the room). Then it works perfectly. Anyone who writes a bad review about this is simply measuring incorrectly. At that time, my husband still had VHF. This was also detected by the device. After that, my husband was treated in the hospital and discharged as cured for the time being. Since then, he has been checking his data daily and the ECG has always been normal. There was another long-term check-up at the doctor’s and everything was fine there too. The device simply gives him a little security. The data is stored by the device and transferred to the phone when it is nearby. I find that very practical. The data from the app can be sent to the doctor by email, which is very practical, my husband has already done it once. We also ordered the appropriate travel case for storage here on Amazon. It is worth mentioning that the device is supposed to have a battery life of about 6 months. Very pleasant. All in all, I find this blood pressure monitor with the two additional functions ECG and heart sounds highly recommended.

I can achieve everything I need from this blood pressure monitor it’s small enough to pop in your bag and take anywhere your going. It’s really accurate in more ways than one every checkup is recorded on my phone and then shown to my nurse every 4 weeks. I still don’t understand all of the things that are displayed on the screen but my nurse just breezes through it all and sheis very impressed with all the data that is recorded. My nurse says that it is competitively priced for what it does and is high end piece of equipment but unfortunately the NHS won’t fund them so all I have to say is happy nurse — happy patient.

I got this new gadget is so far so good. It’s working pretty and accurate , I’ve being used it now and then and since it’s rechargeable battery no issues til today. I would recommend it. You don’t have to a thing in regards to DATA. This device transfer the info automatically to my phone.

Very elegantly processed, but …

The design and processing are very successful and look high-quality. Functions can be set on the device via hardware button and touch. Several users are possible. Measurements work quite well. The problem, however, is the fit of the device on the arm. Since it is quite heavy overall, it slips down a bit from time to time until it reaches the elbow throat and thus does not always show the correct values for blood pressure. You have to hold it a little. What I also noticed is that the measurement values are not always synchronized. This works even worse via WLAN than via Bluetooth and mobile phone. Had to reset it several times and the error still occurred. I returned it because the fit on the arm was not optimal and the data exchange did not work really well. The manufacturer still has to do something about the software. Otherwise, a very good all-in-one concept. The stethoscope also works very well.

I really want this to workout.

I really want this to work to replace my Omron for two reasons. I got tired of replacing the batteries and I use the Withings app with my scale so want to keep everything together. I compared with with my Dr and my Omron was the same. This one is usually high and has wild swings. You usually have to do 3 readings to get something close. I often have over 20 point swings within a few minutes. You really have to calm yourself mentally and physically with this one. Maybe it is just more sensitive.

I also do not like the way it uses the high/low bar when it tracks in the app. I think my Omron takes the average to me that is better.

I originally did not go with this one because the numbers are not presented at one time. However, I started using the Withings scale so wanted to go with this when I got it for a good price.

It is a little long. Someone with small arms may not be able to use.

I would not pay the full list price for it and I would not use it as my only one. It is an extra one for me. I will probably keep because I got it at a good price.

I will give it one star because you cant rely on the numbers. Although it is high. That would be better than too low.

i am really waiting for the Withings BPM Connect come out. I wish it would come out during my return period so I can return this one.

I have used Withings support before and they are great. Or, at least that experience was. No hold times and they follow up right away.

If you are concerned/worried about your blood pressure you should get one of this. Yes, this is probably more expensive but is rechargeable and the battery life is very good. The app goes a long way as well, just having old recordings there handy is convenient and help you determine if the changes you are doing in your life are significant.

Superb!

I purchased this product because I could track and share my blood pressure from my mobile device. The unit is compact and very easy to use. It allows for up to eight different users. The software is easy to set up and the transfer from and to the your mobile device is seamless. A little more expensive than most but exactly what I wanted. Simple device

Easy to set up & use. My doc let me borrow 1 to try for a couple months prior to buying my own. 1 thing I’ve noticed is the readings vary a little…after taking a reading, I leave the cuff on & sit for a few minutes before running again. Typically the 2nd or even 3rd reading(s) end up being lower than the initial reading. Not by a ton, but can be in a different zone. The readings go to the Withings app on my phone easy enough & are supposed to automatically go to the MyChart app so my doc can see the readings. Unfortunately the apps don’t want to communicate correctly & I always have to add the readings manually on the app my doc can see. Not a huge deal…unless I forget. Overall, a great device & appears to be pretty accurate.

Better than other options

Expensive but worth it

Expensive compared to so many bp monitors available in Amazon but this is well designed and made.There are a couple of things that took a while to get right in use.1. The velcro strip keeps sticking too easily which makes it difficult to place the bad correctly, I found I turned the band around so the control unit is virtually under your arm, this allows you to wrap the velcro over without it getting stuck, you then turn the while thing around so the control unit it at the top as suggested.2. The ECG and stethoscope sound recording can be difficult to get right, after searching on the net for few days, I found the best way to get the sound recording to work is to bring the stethoscope sensor to the front of the chest so it above the nipple, like crossing your arm, this tends to work most of the time, instead of the illustration in the booklet.

It does not work

I have the body plus scale for years no issues so i wanted a bpm system. Brought this yesterday and app says 0% battery. Charged it 2 hours still 0%. Overnight still 0%. Attached to a powerbank. When pressed a rectangular button with three dots flashes in the middle. Returning this today maybe for another one or a complete different company. If it cannot run of an external power source and only the internal battery then the life cycle is 3 years which is unacceptable.

Measurements are evaluated within a few minutes and are best controlled/compared with the app. Multiple profiles with names can be set up on the device 👍🏻For precise measurement, the device must be properly attached to the arm and body so that useful values are displayed at the end. Reliable and easy to use

The cuff is a generous size, which was my main concern.It took me a couple of attempts initially to place it properly for the reading to work, but never had a problem since.The only problem I has was interpreting the instructions from the web page properly. Probably me being dim.The key point to note is once the reading has finished a line of dashes appears.To change the user to another person registered on the device you need to swipe on the line until the chosen user’s name appears.The battery life appears to be very good.I have used it twice a day for about 7 weeks on 1 initial charge and it is still showing 68% full.A good bit of kit.Glad I spent the money.

A very nice but unusual device, as it also records an ECG. It only works on bare skin if you want to use all functions. The blood pressure monitor can be used by several people. An app is necessary to save all data and, if desired, to print it out or forward it to the doctor. Unfortunately, the transfer to the app does not always occur simultaneously. Even if synchronization fails, further measurements can still be taken. When transmission is possible again, all missing data is correctly added to the app. The customer center responds to error messages with help through solution proposals or, in the case of programming errors, through updates. Therefore, these should be installed regularly. Everything is described in detail in the app, and there is a practice video. In addition, the app offers other useful application possibilities to monitor one’s health. The device looks good and valuable. The price is justified. I give the device a clear purchase recommendation.

Measurements work without problems

First, I must say that I do not understand why so many people have problems with the heart rate measurement. I received the device yesterday and have made about 10 measurements so far (on myself and my wife), all 10 have worked (even the first one). One should simply think logically and place the stethoscope flat against the side of the ribs (where the heart is located), just as the doctor presses the part flat when listening. This is a microphone and it simply listens, so there must be reasonable contact. So all measurements without errors. However, the transmission takes unusually long for me (I already have Body Cardio, Scan Watch, the Sleep), and it works immediately everywhere else, but here a loading indicator spins for minutes. I will look into this a bit more, otherwise I will contact support.

I already had an older Withings blood pressure monitor that worked with a connected smartphone. With this current device, the transmission takes place via WLAN, so it is independent of another smartphone. And the display on the device makes measurement easier. The stethoscope function is also interesting, but the recording of the sound doesn’t tell me much, an doctor might enjoy it. And the ECG measurement is also very straightforward. The measured values are transferred to the Withings app so that you can see the development over a (long) period of time. (Note: I also use the Withings scale and thermometer and am very satisfied with them) Overall, I am very satisfied, even if the device is not cheap.

I need to correct my review of the EKG

I once wrote that the EKG is only rarely recorded and evaluated. This is not true. In order to record and evaluate an EKG, the heartbeat at the time of measurement must be at least 50 bpm and must not exceed 100 bpm. This is stated in the corresponding app under the heading ‘Explanations of the EKG’.

Every morning and every evening I measure my vital signs with it…Pulse / Blood pressure / EKG measurement and heart sounds…All quite easy to measure and easily recordable with the corresponding app…With the app, you can easily generate a PDF and send the values to your doctor. As a smart blood pressure monitor, I should actually give 5 stars, but unfortunately I have to deduct one. In principle, ‘accuracy’ is always relative, as otherwise it would have to be compared to a reference. And this accuracy may be the fifth star. Therefore, if you are interested in the temporal course of the measured values, I can only recommend this smart blood pressure monitor. And yes, you also have to find a way to handle it before the ECG function works fully. At least for me, it took many attempts until I found a position/posture that is always ‘normal’ for the ECG result (instead of ‘inconsistent’).

The device is a great thing to control blood pressure and monitor heart rhythm. It works great. The stethoscope does not provide any useful results for me. I have been using the device for 2 months now and there has not been a single analysis of heart sounds possible. This function is not useful for me. One of the reasons I chose this model is because it also listens to your heart and can detect 4 of the most common heart problems, it also takes your ecg, making it a great all-round health device.I am a big apple fan and the integration with the health app is great, having said that the withing’s Health Mate app is excellent and you can create reports and send them off to your doctor or print them out very easily.Highly recommend

The price was okay for the product. I decided to buy it because I want to see and document more. 200 euros is not little, but for the performance and the fact that you can have such values at home, it’s optimal. Besides, it is clinically validated. That had to be. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have bought it. I can send the data individually and also export PDF evaluations. It can be synchronized with Apple Health. (no fabric in between, preferably without outerwear) — keep very still. — no noise in the apartment or through the windows. — breathe calmly and do not move even minimally. Otherwise, you can also try to change the position for the measuring point. If you are of normal weight, it works quite well from the side on the chest. As a woman, the breast is a bit of a nuisance. With a little more weight, the tissue isolates the sound from the heart and it is simply more difficult to hear and record without errors. We then tested: It is possible to simply move the measuring point to this chest or even the breast for the ECG measurement. To do this, turn the cuff a little, test, then move the arm so that the measuring point rests there and then hold still for the ECG measurement. I measure blood pressure with the individual program because the cuff must be in the correct position for this. On the chest, the sound of the heart can be recorded clearly and loudly. Unfortunately, the sound of the lungs’ breathing is also included to some extent. However, this is not disturbing in a calm state. We performed the ECG directly so often until we had all measurements without errors and without noise. I would like to have the option to see the small recorded spikes better or to have a zoom. The ECG graphic is a bit too small for me. Otherwise, the app can also record the pulse with the iPhone. But that’s just a gimmick. I’ll show you some pictures of the evaluations I did. The device is recommended. The transmission to the app is also very fast. It’s great that I can delete faulty recordings individually. We have two apps and two profiles directly on the device. There is also a guest profile. But I don’t like the display of the device itself. It is difficult to read with the dots. Theoretically, you could also record a guest via the other profile, then see everything in their app and simply delete the recordings after viewing or exporting them. The cuff is a bit difficult to put on with strong arms because the first bend is very rigid. The rest around it is very long. Much too long for my thin arms, but can be put aside and does not bother. It is quiet and light. And I got the case right away. It should accompany me for a longer time now. We are not getting any younger.

Very satisfied. Measurements at rest work well. Quite a high price but for the health topic and for the high-quality measuring device, it was ultimately worth it for me. Actually perfect — good integration in iOs Health App and Health Mate

With the body scale and the Sleep Sensor Mat, I was already well equipped — I already had EKG and pulse through the AppleWatch — but blood pressure is still the issue that Apple can’t get with the iWatch. Since my doctor recommended regular blood pressure measurement, I have now found a solution — I wanted all the data to be neatly listed, but didn’t want to write it down myself — so I tried it with the BPM Core and after 1 year I am still absolutely convinced.

Without the app
Yes, the device can also be used completely without the app (but who wants to do that). By swiping, you can select from the modes (Start / 3x Start / EKG). With Start, blood pressure, EKG and heart sounds are measured. 3x Start performs the blood pressure test 3 times and determines the average value to compensate for any outliers, then EKG and heart sounds. EKG would only be the EKG function. After performing the test, both blood pressure values are clearly and neatly displayed on the screen — for EKG and heart sounds, a color symbolizes that everything is in the green range.

With the Withings Health App:
The process works as described above. The app does not have to be active or on for this. You simply perform the test as usual and then the data is synchronized via WLAN — I clearly prefer this to Bluetooth, as I don’t have to have my phone with me every time.
This solution is perfect because the data can then be viewed in peace. It also works for several days without a phone or WLAN (tested in a holiday apartment) — as soon as the BPM Core returned to the home WLAN, it synchronized all the data.

Integration with the Apple Health APP
Of course, you can easily set it up so that you also want to mirror all the data in the Health App (read/write). Although EKG & heart sounds do not work, the most important thing, the blood pressure values, are displayed almost even more neatly and clearly.

Criticism of heart sounds
While blood pressure and EKG work perfectly for me. Yes, you should read the instructions beforehand — or alternatively watch the small videos during the app setup in the start program — they are very good, quick and prepare you perfectly for handling. If there are regularly incorrect results, these short videos are also displayed and help to improve position or execution. Only the heart sounds do not work perfectly for me and despite correct positioning and a silent environment, I get ‘not clear’ results there. We checked this with friends, where it works perfectly — so it will probably be due to my anatomy here.

Conclusion: For blood pressure and EKG, I can recommend the device without criticism. All data is automatically saved and so I can still look back for months without having to constantly write it down. I have already shown the app to the doctor, which has made consultation even better. At the request of the doctor (who was also curious), we checked it there once and the results for blood pressure were identical.

Works perfectly

The device has been working perfectly since the first measurement. All displayed values are within the normal tolerance range after several comparisons with my cardiologist, thus providing reliable and useful data for private continuous use. The advantages of measuring on the upper arm are widely known and without the annoying hose that is otherwise present on such devices, handling is very comfortable. The built-in battery lasts forever and can be quickly recharged with any commercially available mobile phone charger if needed. The times of empty and out-of-stock batteries are finally over. The connection to the app and the provision of data there are exemplary and intuitive. After the device recently displayed an Error #87, support responded friendly and professionally within 12 hours, and the problem could be solved at home within 5 minutes via a firmware update. I also consider this to be an exemplary performance that many companies can learn from. I am completely satisfied with the device and in my opinion, it is worth the relatively high purchase price. I would not exchange the device for any other available on the market.

I received the 1st device and gave it as a birthday present after 4 weeks… and it was defective — great, because it was too late to return it! Several attempts to contact the manufacturer were unsuccessful — I was furious! Then I contacted Amazon and the responsible employee Mr. Levan Bechvaia helped me a lot. He was very accommodating and tried to solve my problem — he even called me back on the weekend and offered me the choice between a new device or a refund of the purchase price — I have never experienced such great complaint processing. Within 4 days I had the new device at home. But now to the device: the new device works great — easy to use and very accurate — just as I had hoped. Great reliable blood pressure monitor

I’ve been using their scale since 2011, so it was only natural to also get the blood pressure monitor from them. Good app!!! It also works without a phone, although the display on the device itself is not very readable. However, I find the device too big for traveling.

Simple application — only partially

DIGITAL STETHOSCOPE: It must be said that there can no longer be any talk of simple operation. 5 usable measurements are needed for an analysis of the heart sounds. I needed 26 attempts to obtain 5 usable measurements. And the last two measurements worked one after the other. So I thought you know how it works now. But, too early to rejoice, because in the next 7 measurements I failed again to obtain even one usable measurement. Of course, I watched videos on Youtube, read the operating instructions and researched on the Withings website. Easy to understand, great measuring device

I also have the older measuring device with a cable and bought the new one. With the old one, I found that the cuff can be applied better. And the stethoscope really only works properly when it’s quiet. This can be unsettling, and apparently it takes several measurements before there are any statements about the heart sounds.

Alles Super! Einfach und gut (wenn man mit der Technik umgehen kann)

Absolut genial! Ich kann die vielen negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen!

Die Installation war sehr einfach. Man muss sich nur genau an die Anleitung halten. Diese gibt es bei Amazon in der Produktbeschreibung oder auf der Website von Withings.
Außerdem sollte man sich mit seinem Smartphone und dem eigenen WLAN auskennen. Wer diese Voraussetzungen nicht mitbringt, sollte hinterher nicht dem Gerät die Schuld geben!
Wir benutzen das Gerät zu zweit, mit zwei verschiedenen Accounts auf zwei verschiedenen Smartphones.

Die Anwendung ist sehr einfach. Nach dem Anlegen der Manschette drückt man die obere Taste. Nun hat man die Wahl zwischen einfacher und 3-facher Blutdruckmessung, oder nur einem EKG. Einfach über das Display wischen. Danach wieder die obere Taste drücken, still sitzen, Klappe halten und warten! Im Raum sollte es auch ruhig sein.

Nach der Blutdruckmessung startet automatisch das EKG. Wünscht man dieses nicht, kann man die Messung durch drücken der oberen Taste beenden. Die Blutdruckwerte werden 2x angezeigt. Danach wird der Nutzer abgefragt (wieder durch wischen auswählen), Taste drücken, fertig. Nach wenigen Sekunden sind die Werte in der App auf dem Smartphone zu sehen (WLAN nötig).

Das EKG funktioniert bei uns problemlos. Der Oberarm muss frei sein. Das Stethoskop muss mit etwas Druck an den Brustkorb. Ein dünnes T-Shirt stört nicht. Wer hier versucht durch einen Pullover zu messen, hat nicht verstanden wie ein Stethoskop funktioniert (beim Arzt muss man auch den Oberkörper frei machen). Fehlmessungen hatten wir nur, wenn Nebengeräusche im Raum sind oder wir das Stethoskop nicht richtig positioniert hatten.
Das EKG und die Herztöne sind ebenfalls nach wenigen Sekunden in der App verfügbar.
Nach ca. 5 erfolgreichen Messungen gibt es in der App eine Auswertung der Herztöne (ob z.B. eine Klappendefekt hörbar ist).

Die Blutdruckwerte, das EKG etc. können ganz einfach aus der App exportiert werden (auch als csv-Datei). Ebenso können manuell Werte hinzugefügt oder einzelne Werte (Messungen) gelöscht werden. Wie bereits geschrieben, sollte ein gewisses Grundwissen zum Bedienen der Technik vorhanden sein.

FAZIT: Tolles (einfach) zu bedienendes Messgerät mit guten Zusatzfunktionen! Wir sind begeistert. Techniklegastheniker sollten jedoch was anderes kaufen!

I bought it because it is connected to the mobile phone and automatically creates a protocol. It integrates perfectly into the Health App. I would buy it again even if it is a bit expensive.
