ZOOM h1n бюджетный и наверное, самый популярный рекордер для записи звука среди создателей контента для социальных сетей.
Сегодня социальные сети так прочно вошли в нашу жизнь, что контент не создает только ленивый. Для бизнеса или развития личного бренда раскрученный аккаунт просто необходим. Один или лучше несколько.
При этом и так не маленькая конкуренция постоянно растет. В связи с чем требования к контенту становятся все жестче. Зритель уже не будет, как ранее, смотреть все подряд. Есть определенные требования и к визуальной и к аудиальной составляющей. И если огрехи видеоряда зритель простить еще может, то вот со звуком все далеко не так просто. Пусть видео будет сто раз полезным, пусть в нем будет куча нужной и эксклюзивной информации. Если звук плохой, смотреть такое видео никто не станет.
И вот как раз рекордер ZOOM h1n может помочь в плане улучшения качества звука для Вашего контента.
Внешний вид
ZOOM h1n представляет из себя небольшой компактный диктофон с габаритами 137х50х32 мм. Он легко помещается, например, в карман. Выглядит он довольно стильно и лаконично. Несмотря на то, что корпус выполнен из дешевого гладкого пластика, держать его в руках довольно удобно и приятно. В верхней части распологаются два микрофона, направленные под углом 90 градусов друг к другу (так называемая конфигурация X/Y). Под ними находится монохромный дисплей с диагональю 1,25 дюйма. На задней крышки распологается резьба для крепления на штатив и отсек для батареек.
Управление
Ниже микрофонов распологается регулятор уровня громкости записи, имеющий 10 стопов. Выставленный уровень не отображается на дисплее и его можно случайно изменить при эксплуатации. Цифры на регуляторе довольно мелкие и при слабом освещении приходится всматриваться с «усилием», чтобы их увидеть.
Позиции 1-5 практически нет посторонних шумов, но голос записывается довольно тихо и на посте его придется усиливать.
Позиции 6-7 голос записывает с хорошей громкостью, присутствуют незначительне шумы, которые легко удалить на посте.
Позиции 8-10 довольно сильное переусиление.
Естественно Вам придется настраивать под уровень громкости своей речи и в зависимости от присутствующих посторонних шумов.
Сразу под дисплеем распологаются четыре кнопки (AUDIO, LOCUT, LIMITER, AUTOLEVEL), для настройки диктофона и навигации по меню. Следом идет большая круглая кнопка старт/стоп записи.
Под ней четыре кнопки уже для прослушивания записанных треков(OPTION). Для этой же цели внизу фронтальной части располагается динамик.
На правой боковине рекордера имеется выход для наушников, позволяющий мониторить качество записываемого звука и клавиша уровня громкости.
На левой панели сверху распологается вход для внешнего микрофона, например петлички. Далее идет слот для карты памяти формата microSD / microSDHC. Устройство поддерживает карты до 32 Гб.
Ниже идут клавиши setting hold, позволяющие включать/выключать устройство, заходить во внутреннее меню, удалять файлы и ставить рекордер в режим HOLD чтобы заблокировать все кнопки. Это необходимо, если Вы кладете рекордер в карман и боитесь случайного нажатия.
Для входа во внутреннее меню (setting) нужно одновременно потянуть вниз ползунок включения диктофона и нажать кнопку удаления. Обе кнопки расположены рядом на боковой панели. Меню ZOOM на английском языке, но есть возможность установить русскую прошивку. Но по большому счету в ней нет необходимости. Все разделы довольно простые и интуитивно понятные.

На дисплее у ZOOM h1n отображается номер файла, индикация заряда батареи, наличие или отсутствие карты памяти, оставшееся время записи, уровень входного сигнала для правого и левого канала. На нижней части дисплея отображаются четыре настройки за которые отвечают четыре соответствующие функциональные кнопки.
AUDIO позволяет выбрать формат записи MP3 или WAV, а также битрейд. Если Вы не планируете в последствии обрабатывать звук в какой-нибудь программе, то подойдет формат MP3. Для постобработки лучше выбрать формат WAV. С битрейдом тоже все просто. Чем выше, тем лучше качество записи и больше информации записывает устройство. Но и объем файлов соответственно становится больше. Это можно видеть на экране устройства, когда с увеличением битрейда уменьшается возможное время записи. Однако выставлять наибольший битрейд по большому счету нет особого смысла, т.к. разница будет неуловима.
LOCUT срезает нижние частоты. Можно выставить на 80, 120 и 160 герц. Позволяет снизить уровень фонового шума, например ветра. Но при этом настройка может негативно сказаться на голосе диктора.
LIMITER помогает бороться с переусилением. Она сжимает частоты, превышающие минус 6 децибел.
AUTOLEVEL автоматическая регулировка усиления микрофонов. Помогает, когда уровень громкости постоянно меняется. Но тут есть небольшой нюанс. Когда уровень звука становится очень низким, например пауза в речи. Устройство выкручивает уровень чувствительности микрофонов на максимум. При этом появляется очень сильный фоновый шум.
Возможные компоновки с рекордером
Основное преимущество рекордера в том, что с помощью него можно создать ряд компоновочных схем для Вашего «сетапа». И решить ряд проблем, связанных с записью звука, например при создании видео контента.
Варианты компоновок:
Использование рекордера с микрофоном петличкой. В этом варианте петличка крепится к воротнику и подключатся во вход рекордера. Включается рекордер, устанвливается ползунок в режим HOLD и кладется в карман. Далее включается видеокамера или фотоаппарат. При этом Вы получаете ряд преимуществ:
- Вы не привязаны к видеокамере проводом. Лично для меня этот момент всегда был решающим. Незнаю почему, но при подключении петлички напрямую к камере я себя чувствую очень скованно. Кажется, что буквально привязан к камере. Нужно куда-то отойти, приходится выдергивать штекер. Можно забыть, что привязан и уронить камеру. Можно не «довключить» разъем и остаться без звуковой дорожки. В общем, одно сплошное неудобство. С зумом же все намного проще. Положил его в карман и все, полная свобода). Главное не забыть его включить и щелкнуть пару раз пальцами, если Вы сводите звуковые дорожки вручную. Я же свожу по форме волны в Davinchi Resolve 17. Там необходимости в хлопках и щелчках нет.
- Рекордер записывает звук лучше чем камера. Особенно это касается бюджетных камер и фотоаппаратов. Большая часть битрейда там идет на видеоряд и звук там вторичен.
- При такой компоновки у Вас будет «запасная» звуковая дорожка. Суть в том, что если писать звук напрямую в камеру всегда есть шанс брака. А когда пишешь на рекордер, даже если с файлом что-то случится, останется дорожка с самой камеры. Конечно звук со встроенного микрофона это тот еще «зашквар», но иногда и он лучше чем ничего. Лично я всегда к фотоаппарату цепляю микрофон пушку. Так, на всякий случай)
Недостатки у такой компоновки тоже имеются. Придется сводить звук на посте. Это не сложно и в том же давинчи делается в пару кликов. Но когда проект большой и файлов много, довольно легко можно запутаться.
Использование связки петличка — рекордер — камера. При такой компоновке звук из петлички идет сначала в рекордер, затем только в камеру. Так можно получить более лучшее качество звука, чем подключая петличку непосредственно к камере. Но я такой способ не использую, т.к. все те же недостатки с привязкой к камере.
Использование рекордера в качестве микрофона-пушки. Этот вариант подойдет только при записи влогов, когда спикер находится максимально близко к камере. Зум нельзя отнести к направленному микрофону. Коридор записи у него достаточно широкий и он будет ловить лишние шумы. Кроме того, если камера не стоит на штативе, то появляется еще одна проблема. Зум очень хорошо передает звук от своего корпуса к микрофонам. Кроме того некоторые кнопки, например кнопки уровня звука в наушниках имеют люфты. Если взять зум и потрясти, он просто как погремушка. И все это в итоге будет на звуковой дорожке.
Использование рекордера, как микрофон для стрима или записи голоса. Достаточно удобный вариант, установить зум на стойку или небольшой штатив на столе. Я использую его так при озвучивании видеороликов. Очень удобно писать звук через него сразу в монтажную программу. Сразу видишь и видеоряд и звуковую дорожку. Главное не держать рекордер в руках и оградить его от вибраций. Можно использовать универсальный виброподвес.
Использование рекордера в качестве звуковой карты. Если у Вашего ПК по катой-то причине нет звуковой карты, то устройство в состоянии ее заменить.
Дополнительные функции
overdubbing позволяет накладывать несколько дорожек друг на друга. Например когда музыкант хочет отдельно записать инструмент и вокал. Но эта функция здесь реализована, так сказать, для галочки и работает не полноценно.
pre-record в этом режиме рекордер записывает несколько секунд до нажатия на кнопку, что может пригодиться, если вам оперативно пришлось включать запись.
auto-record рекордер автоматически начинает запись при достижении определенного уровня звука.
self timer запись по таймеру
Комплектация
zoom h1n поставляется в небольшой картонной коробке. В ней помимо рекордера, находятся два листа с ключами для программ по обработке звука (CUBASE LE и WAVELAB CAST) и две батарейки ААА. Это вся комплектация.
Для рекордера отдельно можно купить паролоновую ветрозащиту или «дохлую кошку»
Достоинства и недостатки
Достоинства:
- Цена. Один из самых доступных по цене рекордеров на рынке.
- Компакнтный, маленький, легкий, удобно лежит в руке. Легко помещается в карман одежды или отсек сумки для фотоаппарата.
- Простота настройки и управления. Клавиши логично расположены и довольно удобны в эксплуотации. Меню простое, интуитивно понятное.
- Возможность различных компоновок с внешним микрофоном, камерой и ПК.
- Возможно питание от повер банка.
Недостатки:
Недостаток у устройста по сути один. Это низкое качество пластика и в целом сборки. Кнопки люфтят и гремят при тряске. Любые движения пальцев по корпусу, нажатия на кнопки передаются на встроенные микрофоны.
Что в итоге
ZOOM H1N прекрасно подойдет для начинающих или немного продвинутых создателей видео контента для социальных сетей. Он поможет не только улучшить качество звука, но и например скомпоновать Ваши устройства в более удобную связку. Лично я сразу ощутил весомую разницу между голосом, записанным через петличку в свою canon M50 и голосом, записанным через ту же петличку, но уже в рекордер. В любом случае, нужно понимать, что это бюджетное устройство и недостатки у него тоже есть. Кроме того, наибольший вклад в результат, как правило, имеют прямые руки.
