  SECTION 6 CARE OF YOUR MACHINE Dismantling and Assembling the Hook Assembly Turn off the power switch or unplug the machine. To dismantle the hook assembly: Raise the needle to its highest position and open the hook cover. Open the hinged latch of the bobbin case and take it out of the machine.
