Cadillac XT5 background information
Cadillac XT5 is a mid-size crossover of increased comfort manufactured by Cadillac, first presented in 2015 at the International Motor Show in Los Angeles and sold in the United States since 2016. This is the first crossover with a new indexing, as well as a successor to the Cadillac SRX, which ceased production in 2016.
The car is built on the GM C1XX platform. The XT5 is only available with one engine, which differs depending on the market. In the US, the crossover is equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 with 310 hp. (231 kW). In China, the XT5 is equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 250 hp. (192 kW).
The XT5 is available with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
In the spring of 2019, the sports version of the Cadilac XT5 Sport was presented. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission and 314 horsepower.
