      Install the unit by screwing three screws. 2~3KW Battery Connection CAUTION: To safety operation and regulation compliance, it’s requested to install a separate DC over-current protector or disconnect device between battery and inverter. It may not be requested to have a disconnect device in some applications, however, it’s still requested to have over-current protection installed.

      3. Insert the ring terminal of battery cable atly into battery connector of inverter and make sure the bolts are tightened with torque of 2-3 Nm. Make sure polarity at both the battery and the inverter/charge is correctly connected and ring terminals are tightly screwed to the battery terminals.

    Yes. Compatible with 24V battery banks, this solar inverter charger keeps your battery charged with solar panels and AC/generator.

    5. Can I use the inverter with a 48V system?

    No. This model can only work with 24V battery system.

    6. How many solar panels can I connect to this inverter?

    For example Vmp 30.9Vdc, Imp 8.42A, Voc 37.7Vdc, Isc 8.89A 250W solar panel, you can connect 9pcs of it to our inverter, 3S3P

    7. How do I hook up the Inverter? What size cable should I use, and is it included?

    When connecting the inverter to the battery and solar panels, please read all of the instructions and cautions in the manual before beginning the installation. The minimum recommended wiring gauge for battery wiring is 4AWG(for a 100AH battery) 6AWG(for a 200AH battery), PV wiring is 8AWG, AC input and out wiring is 12AWG.

    Incorrect or improper connection points and corroded wires can cause great heat to melt the wire insulation, burning surrounding materials, and even cause fire, so ensure that the connection is tightened

    8. Can I use the solar inverter without batteries when using PV or Mains?

    No, at minimum you need to have batteries connected to the unit.But our PV1800/PH1800 PRO series can run without battery. You can have a look at our store

    9. Does this solar inverter limit PV current? I’m not getting my full power?

    When setting up the solar inverter, ensure Program 11 (PV Charging Current) and Program 13 (Maximum Charge Current) are set to their maximum to ensure no PV current clipping.
