The UPSentry 2012 is a power monitoring and control software that communicates with a UPS to retrieve the UPS information and protects the operating system which is supplied power by the UPS during power events (Such as input power fail). Using a Web Browser, you can easily obtain the current UPS status, configure your shutdown strategy and view the countdown to shutdown information. UPSentry 2012 also has the ability to notify the device managers through e-mail and SMS.

UPSentry 2012 works with multiple ShutdownAgent 2012 to protect a large number of hosts which are powered by the UPS.

1.1 Features

1. Work with ShutdownAgent 2012 to protect a large number of hosts:

Each UPSentry 2012 can connect up to 255 ShutdownAgent 2012. Each

ShutdownAgent 2012 can forward the received SNMP trap to up to 255

ShutdownAgent 2012.

2. Support RS232 protocol to monitor and control the connected UPS.

3. Support USB to monitor and control the connected UPS.

4. Support SNMPv1, v2c and v3 trap.

5. Support SMS for mobile notification.

ShutdownAgent

UPSentry
