2 — RECOMMENDATIONS The electrical facilities of the room, as well as the installation and use of the appliance must comply with the

standards in force in your country. Do not use your appliance near inflammable objects or products. In general, you should always place the

appliance at least 50 cm away from any object (walls, curtains, aerosols, etc.). Do not pull on the power cord or the appliance, even when unplugging it from a wall socket. This appliance is designed for indoor domestic household use only. In case of professional use, inappropriate

1 — SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the instruction manual and safety instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep the instruction manual for reference. For your safety, this appliance complies with all applicable standards and regulations (Low Voltage, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Environmental directives, etc.).

Do not use the appliance in a dusty room or a location where there is a risk of fire. This appliance must not be used in a humid environment. The warranty will be invalidated if damage occurs due to incorrect use.

3 — FIRST USE Before first use, ensure that the voltage, frequency and power of your appliance are suitable for your electrical supply. Your appliance can function using an unearthed plug. It is a class II (double insulation ). Before switching on your appliance, ensure that : the appliance is completely assembled as described in the safety instructions, the appliance is placed on a stable, horizontal surface, the appliance is positioned in accordance with the instructions given in this manual. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FORCE OSCILLATION MANUALLY. APPLIANCE(S) WITH REMOTE CONTROL VF3910F0:

VF3910F0: The remote control uses 2 x LR3 (AAA) which are not included. Place the batteries in their compartment making sure that you put them in with the positive and nega- tive ends the right way round as shown in the battery compartment.

IMPORTANT: You are advised to switch off and unplug the appliance when not in use. When storing the appli- ance for a longer period of time, please remove the batteries from the remote control.

IN CASE OF ANY PROBLEM Do not disassemble the appliance yourself. A poorly repaired appliance may be dangerous for the user.

Do not use the appliance and contact an Approved Service Centre if : your appliance has been dropped; your appliance or its power cord are damaged; your appliance no longer functions properly. You can find a list of Approved Service Centres on the TEFAL international warranty cards.

4 — ASSEMBLING Your appliance is supplied unassembled. For your safety, it is essential to assemble it correctly. You must set and use your appliance in compliance with the standards in force in your country.

Operate the fan and choose the speed you require using the but- tons on the control panel: START TIMER ( up to 7.5H) MODE SPEED (1-2-3)

The control panel has four buttons which are used to start your appliance and select the ventilation speed. You can select your preferred ventilation setting by pressing MODE button. For NORMAL MODE, you can select your preferred ventilation setting by pressing SPEED (1-2-3). For NIGHT or NATURAL MODE, the ventilation speed is software programed to provide you with maximum comfort. Turn the appliance off by pressing button either on the control panel or the remote control. The oscillation function can be activated only with the remote control by pressing on the button . By pressing TIMER button, you can set the time needed. The leds will indicate the timing you are setting. When numerous leds are illuminated, the timing is the sum of all the figures related to each led. IMPORTANT: You are advised to unplug the appliance when not in use.

6 — CLEANING Your appliance must be unplugged before proceeding with any cleaning work. You can clean it with a slightly damp cloth. IMPORTANT: Never use abrasive products which might damage the appearance of your appliance.

3 — MISE EN FONCTIONNEMENT Avant la premire utilisation, vrifiez que tension, frquence et puissance de votre appareil correspondent bien votre installation lectrique. Votre appareil peut fonctionner avec une prise de courant sans terre . Cest un appareil de classe II (double isolation lectrique ). Assurez-vous avant toute mise en marche de votre appareil que : lappareil soit intgralement assembl comme lindiquent les consignes de scurit, lappareil soit plac sur un support horizontal et stable, le positionnement de lappareil dcrit dans cette notice soit respect. NE PAS FORCER LOSCILLATION A LA MAIN. APPAREIL(S) AVEC TLCOMMANDE (VF3910F0) :

VF3910F0: La tlcommande fonctionne avec 2 piles de type LR3 (AAA), piles non incluses. Placer les piles dans leur logement en prenant en compte les indications de polarit dfinies dans ce loge- ment.

IMPORTANT: Si vous nutilisez pas votre appareil, il est conseill de larrter et de le dbrancher. Pour les appa- reils avec tlcommande, il est conseill denlever les piles de la tlcommande pour une priode de stockage.

EN CAS DE PROBLEME Ne dmontez jamais votre appareil vous-mme. Un appareil mal rpar peut prsenter des risques pour lutili- sateur.

Nutilisez pas votre appareil et contactez un Centre Service Agr si : votre appareil est tomb, votre appareil ou son cordon dalimentation est endommag, votre appareil ne fonctionne pas normalement. Vous pouvez trouver la liste des Centres Services Agrs sur la carte de garantie internationale TEFAL.

Faites fonctionner le ventilateur et choisissez la vitesse sou- haite laide des boutons du panneau de contrle : DMARRAGE MINUTEUR (jusqu 7,5 H) MODE VITESSE (1-2-3)

Le panneau de contrle comporte quatre boutons qui permettent de dmarrer votre appareil et de slectionner la vitesse de ventilation. Vous pouvez slectionner votre rglage de ventilation prfr en appuyant sur le bouton MODE . Pour le MODE NORMAL, vous pouvez slectionner votre rglage de ventilation prfr en appuyant sur VITESSE (1-2-3). Pour le mode NOCTURNE ou NATUREL, la vitesse de ventilation est programme par logiciel pour vous offrir un maximum de confort. teignez lappareil en appuyant sur le bouton sur le panneau de commande ou la tlcommande. La fonction doscillation ne peut tre active quavec la tlcommande en appuyant sur le bouton . En appuyant sur le bouton MINUTEUR , vous pouvez rgler la dure ncessaire. Les LED indiqueront la dure que vous dfinissez. Lorsque de nombreuses LED sont allumes, la dure correspond la somme de tous les chiffres lis chaque LED. IMPORTANT: Si vous nutilisez pas votre appareil, il est conseill de le dbrancher.

6 — ENTRETIEN Votre appareil doit tre dbranch avant toute opration dentretien. Vous pouvez le nettoyer avec un chiffon lgrement humide. IMPORTANT : Ne jamais utiliser de produits abrasifs qui risqueraient de dtriorer les revtements.

7 — RANGEMENT Lorsque vous nutiliserez pas lappareil, celui-ci doit tre plac dans un local labri de lhumidit.

Coloque a ventoinha a funcio- nar e escolha a velocidade que pretende usando os botes no painel de controlo. INICIAR TEMPORIZADOR (at 7,5 h) MODO VELOCIDADE (1-2-3)

O painel de controlo possui quatro botes que so usados para ligar o seu aparelho e selecionar a velocidade de ventilao. Pode selecionar a sua definio de ventilao preferida premindo o boto MODO. Para MODO NORMAL selecione a sua definio de ventilao preferida premindo SPEED (VELOCIDADE) (1-2-3). Para MODO NATURAL e NOTURNO, a velocidade de ventilao programada por software para lhe proporcionar o mximo conforto. Desligue o aparelho premindo o boto no painel de controlo ou no telecomando. A funo de oscilao s pode ser ativada com o telecomando premindo o boto . Premindo o boto TEMPORIZADOR pode configurar as horas necessrias. Os indicadores luminosos indicam o horrio que est a definir. Quando esto acesos vrios indicadores luminosos, o horrio a soma de todos os nmeros relacionados com cada indicador luminoso. IMPORTANTE: Se no est a utilizar o aparelho, aconselhvel deslig-lo.

6 — MANUTENO O aparelho dever estar desligado, antes de iniciar qualquer operao de manuteno. Poder limp-lo com um pano ligeiramente hmido. IMPORTANTE: nunca utilize produtos abrasivos, podero deteriorar a superfcie do aparelho.
